MANDALA INSTRUCTORS
Vinicius De Castro is a founder and head coach of Mandala Jiu-Jitsu School. Vinicius started learning the art of Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 9 and now is a fourth degree black belt under Master Jose Henrique Leao Teixeira. He has participated and won several competitions and championships, and still is an active competitor. Vinicius has dedicated his life to practicing and teaching Jiu-Jitsu, also he has Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Master's Degree in Psychomotor Learning. Vinicius has developed his unique style of teaching by applying his academic knowledge and experience in to Jiu-Jitsu.
Mike Brooks is a BJJ black belt who teaches many of the adult classes. Mike is an active competitor and an experienced instructor with great attention to detail when teaching techniques. He is also a bike enthusiast, cycling all around the world in his spare time (ask him about his adventures).
Pier Gaioni is a BJJ blue belt who teaches and assists in our children's classes. Pier is also a keen competitor who's passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and his competition experience inspires children in all classes. If Pier is not on the mat teaching or training, he is looking after his collection of snakes (he is our club ophidiologist).
